Elmcrest Baptist Church exists for the purpose of glorifying God through lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are a pretty traditional church when it comes to worship.  We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is a gracious gift of God.  We are accepted by God not based on how good we are, how many times we go to church, or how moral we are, but on the basis of our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.  In the gospel we find identity, strength, power to obey Jesus' commands, and forgiveness for when we fail to. Our desire is to become the kind of people God created us to be; to share the gospel with our words and our actions; and to be a testimony of God's grace to all who look at us (He shows no favoritism and welcomes all by faith in Jesus and nothing else).
